When Jane Gallagher is mentioned, Holden pretty much falls in love all over again. He basically just needs to be loved and have someone there to help him. This reminds me of my brother. He just got a new girlfriend, and before this he was pretty much a lost cause. All he did was be rebelous and do what he wanted, now he is always with her everyday and night. I think that Holden just needs to find her and he will see that his life was complete with her in it and not just living life thinking that it'll all be okay if he just puts on an act and people will like him. I see a lot of my brother in Holden.
