Catcher has been banned from many schools for its language and content. What's your opinion?

    In chapter 23 Holden calls up his old English teacher from Elkton Hills, Mr. Antolini to see if he can stay at his house for a bit. Before leaving he dances with Phoebe for a while but then his parents come home and he hides in the closet.His parents get angry with Phoebe for staying up but don't suspect anything. When Holden emerges from the closet Phoebe lends him her Christmas money so he can stay a float. After getting shaken up by his parents appearance, he quickly leaves and heads over to Antolini's.

    Throughout these last chapters Holden Went to Mr.Antolonis house to stay for a bit, but then he got too creeped out from Mr.Antonlini patted his head when he was sleeping. He decided to leave until he met up to say good bye to Phoebe, and she wanted to come with him but he did not want her to, so he decided to stay.

    This book ended in a way that is much different than other books I have read in school. In most books the end is definitive and leaves the reader with few if any questions left unanswered where as The Catcher In The Rye it just seemed to end and leave you still wondering about aspects of the book.

    In the last section of the book Holden trys to find a place to stay. He ends up calling a teacher from his old school to see if it would be alright if he could stay with him for a bit. Shortly after holden leaves and meets up with his sister again at the museum. Through the last part of the book there are a lot of parts that are left open and keep you wondering. But in a way this is good because then you can fill in the gaps with what you want to think not what someone is telling you what to think.

    In section 6 of our book, Holden looks for a place to stay until wednesday so that he can make it look like hes coming home for the holiday incase his parents didn't know that he got kicked out yet. He ended up staying which his old teacher Mr.Antolonis untill he gets creeped out which him patting his head while hes asleep. He then meets up with his sister phoebe and takes her too the zoo. And by now you should already be able to tell by what he says is going to happen next in the story.
